Business Traveler
Great place to stay for the business traveler. Economical, microwave and refrigerator make it easy to stay more than overnight with a bit of independence. Good location for business.

Traveling as Couple
The staff was very friendly & it was clean. The halls smelled a little & in general, the hotel needs to be updated.

Solo Traveler
Great location just off interstate and close to Duke Univ. and Medical Center. Very clean interior and outside. Breakfast was OK, it would have been nice to have some selection of fresh fruit.

Solo Traveler
This hotel was great for the short stay I was making. I was a solo traveler who used the hotel pretty much, just for sleep. But it was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The hallways were a little noisy, but nothing major. There was an entire college tennis team staying in the same hotel and I never heard them. The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable was the parking lot after dark. As a single female traveler, I did enjoy walking from my car to the door in the not very well lit parking lot - not a far walk by any means, but still enough to make one a bit uncomfortable. Business Traveler
Very typical 2.5 star. The continental breakfast was reasonably good. Hard boiled eggs were a nice touch as it's often difficult to get protein in complimentary breakfasts.

As an infrequent traveler, I know now to request a non-smoking room when visiting the area, vs. assuming it will be unless otherwise requested.
